Malaysia

The Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) between Malaysia and Singapore is a framework to facilitate two-way travel by individuals who have received a full regimen of a COVID-19 vaccine.

On January 21, 2022 the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) announced the temporary suspension of VTL between Malaysia and Singapore will resume. The quota for bus and flight tickets will be reduced from the existing quota, which is a 50 percent reduction in bus and flight capacity. However, for passengers who have already purchased tickets for travel dates after January 20, 2022 before the announcement of the suspension of ticket sales is made, they are allowed to continue traveling using this initiative according to the quota that has been set previously.

WHO can travel under VTL?
All travelers must be fully vaccinated and have taken a COVID-19 test two days before departure.

However, a person who chooses not to travel under VTL will be subjected to the quarantine regulations of Malaysia at a particular time.
