Arsenal thrashed Sunderland 5-1 in the League Cup to reach semis – A first hat-trick by young striker Eddie Nketiah for Arsenal to reach the semi-finals of the EFL Carabao Cup in England.
“This competition is the place I’ve been getting starts. I’ll do my best whenever I’m asked to play. I’m desperate to play football. All I can do is keep working hard. It’ll sort itself out. As long as I play for Arsenal I’ll give my all” said Nketiah.
Nketiah’s 3 goals last night made it 10 league cup goals in nine appearances in a display of clinical finishing and clever penalty box movement
The Semi-final draw set to be made on Wednesday evening.
Arsenal will next seen Premier League action on Boxing Day with a trip to Carrow Road to face Norwich, before welcoming Wolves to Emirates Stadium two days later.
