Canada travellers – Snowstorm forecasted for Vancouver – Environment Canada has now issued a snowfall warning, with Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley in British Columbia expecting snow starting Tuesday afternoon.
Many people across Metro Vancouver will be staying indoors as much as possible until this week’s snowstorm subsides – but they could face fines if they neglect to shovel their sidewalks in a timely fashion. https://t.co/yW62MJvS3g

In addition to powerful winds, sub-zero temperatures, and frigid windchill, the weather alert includes significant accumulations of snowfall that will eventually transition to freezing rain “leading to poor travel conditions.”
Some of these conditions may be due to cold arctic air, which is currently pushing into the interior and is expected to make its way out to the coast of B.C. on Monday, it added.
Factors like La Niña will bring cold and snow from December to February with a “strong start” to winter.
The largest amount of snow this week is predicted to fall on Tuesday, with the next significant snowfall forecasted for Monday, December 5th.
