Malaysia interstate travel will be allowed for all fully vaccinated Malaysians between any states from Monday (Oct 11, 2021), said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in a special televised address.
With Malaysia’s borders reopened, the government also lifts travel restrictions for fully vaccinated people to travel abroad. Malaysians no longer have to apply for MyTravelPass approval to travel overseas.
Travelers are required to do a swab test three days before returning to Malaysia, and another swab test upon arriving in Malaysia. For returning Malaysians, self-quarantine at home is allowed. However, if there are cases, the Health Ministry will then place them at quarantine centers.
