Sex and the Valley – Musk alleged liaison with Brin’s wife – the world’s richest man and founder of Tesla & SpaceX Elon Musk, reportedly had an affair with Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife, leading the a divorce and end in the billionaires friendship.
Musk and Nicole Shanahan’s affair allegedly occurred at the high-profile Art Basel event in Miami following Musk’s split with then-girlfriend Claire Boucher, also known as Grimes.
Sources reported that back then, Brin and Shanahan were already separated but still living together. The couple’s relationship was reportedly strained due to issues related to their three-year-old daughter and the COVID-19 lockdowns.
The ending of the long friendship is one of many personal issues Elon Musk has faced as he juggles business challenges, including disruptions in manufacturing at Tesla, and an upcoming court fight in Delaware to withdraw his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter.

“I hope for Sergey and I to move forward with dignity, honesty and harmony for the sake of our child. And we are both working towards that,” said nicole Shanahan to news website Puck earlier this month.
