Teen fatally stabbed at Melbourne beach, suspects on the run as the victim was found with a knife protruding from his body with multiple stab wounds at the popular St Kilda beach on Sunday night.
Horrified onlookers enjoying an evening by the water said plain-clothes and uniformed police descended on the gruesome scene very quickly.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in St Kilda on 4 December.
Emergency services were called to St Kilda beach just after 7.30pm following reports of people fighting.

The Tarneit teen was unresponsive and was rushed to the Alfred Hospital, and died later. Having spoken to witnesses, police believe the stabbing occurred after a fight involving about five to six males. Police believe them to be of African appearance.
Police are still investigating the exact circumstances around the incident, however it has been confirmed the brawl was gang related. Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
