Wife murdered while travelling in UK – Singaporean pleads not guilty. Last December 6th, 51 year old woman Pek Ying Ling was found dead at luxury apartment in Newcastle – County Aparthotel – while travelling on a trip from Singapore with her husband. They were due to meet up with their three sons for a family holiday.
Her 50 year old husband Fong Soong Hert pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder over video, 11th January in a British court. The trial date has been listed for 6th June, and pre-trial hearing will take place on 28th February.
