Catch Novak Djokovic in Australia Open Jan 2023? Tournament boss Craig Tiley hinted that Aus Open 2023 is “on track to have all the top players back”, in a hint to Novak Djokovic’s potential chances of a return.

Craig added “we are at a different point in time now than we were nine months ago and I think it’s a very different environment with people travelling freely around the world and we hope to have all the best players here in January”

The conditions of Djokovic’s deportation from Australia earlier in Jan 2022 resulted in a three-year ban on future attempts to enter the country. However, the change in national government in Australia in May 2022 and official claims that the COVID-19 pandemic is over, could mean that that the ban may be retracted.
