Indiana teen Hikers killings in 2017 – suspect just arrested after a five and a half year nationwide search. Best friends Liberty German, 14 (Libby) and Abigail Williams, 13 (Abby) were on a hiking trail in rural Delphi when they were killed in the middle of the day on 13th Feb 2017.
Williams and German disappeared while hiking along of the historic trail routes in Delphi, Indiana, about 70 miles north of Indianapolis. Their bodies were discovered the following day in a wooded area, roughly a mile from the spot where they were last seen, and their deaths were ruled as homicides.
Indiana State Police shared Richard Allen, 50, of Delphi, was arrested on Wednesday and will be charged on two counts of murder during a court hearing two days later. Allen, who entered a preliminary plea of not guilty, was sent to the White County Jail without bond.
