UK Bishopsgate – Phone snatchers stabs 3 people as they were confronted while attempting a phone robbery in the heart of the Square Mile just before 10am, near London Liverpool Street Station.
It happened outside the skyscraper 22 Bishopsgate, the second tallest building in the UK after the Shard, in London. A police cordon was in place at the scene guarded by City of London police officers.
City of London Police say they are looking for the two masked knifemen suspects on electric bikes, and are treating the case as a robbery involving a phone being snatched. Those stabbed were members of the public who jumped in to intervene to stop the assailants, and were hurt.

The City of London Police said the three victims did not suffer life-changing injuries and were treated at a local hospital.
Nickie Aiken, Cities of London and Westminster MP, said she was “Concerned to learn of the incident in Bishopsgate. I’m in contact with City Police for updates. My thoughts are with all those involved including the first responders.”
