Xiaomi Mi 12S Leica 1 inch camera sensor – Xiaomi launched three new smartphones today, with one of them spotting a huge new  1-inch camera sensor, a giant for a smartphone.

Called the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, it’s a powerful flagship designed to showcase Xiaomi’s new partnership with imaging specialist Leica. A triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel main unit built on Sony’s 1-inch, IMX989 sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and a maximum 120x magnification.

Euipped with Leica lenses and housed in a massive camera bump on the back, making even the one on the predecessor Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra pale in comparison.
