IBM in Singapore blockchain without bitcoin – IBM is developing its own version of blockchain technology, and is also on the verge of opening a blockchain innovation centre in Singapore. This will be the first collaboration with it comes to blockchain adoption for trade in finance, which will be supported by our government, namely Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
On top of that, IBM will also work with PSA – one of the worlds largest port operator to explore the development and use of Blockchain technology for Trade.
Blockchain Technology was popularised by Bitcoin that perceived as the biggest revolution in the finance industry probably in the last hundreds of years. This piece of innovation has garnered international attention especially in finance sector. It could be the future of currency, or it could be a trend that has reached its peak. Who knows.
