Action Thriller Indian movie Valimai stars Ajith Kumar – Valimai will open in cinemas during the Pongal holiday in 2022. In the trailer released on Thursday, Gummakonda, the leader of the gang of thieves which had pulled off thousands of heists, appears invincible till they encounter Kumar playing the role of the police officer.
It starts at a frenetic pace chase sequence racing on bikes, and the movie promises high octane action.

In February 2021, Ajith suffered an injury while shooting a bike sequence for Valimai and was briefly out of action.
Valimai is Boney Kapoor’s second collaboration with Ajith and Vinoth, after the 3 had collaborated earlier for the Tamil remake of Bollywood film Pink – Nerkonda Paarvai. Originally planned for Diwali 2020 as a big release, the movie had to be delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic.
